Breaking the lock
Today all the year 6 students from kiwi and takahe came into Ruma Kiwi to do an activity with a guest. Our goal was to use all the clues to break our lock. We were in groups of 4 to solve our clues. We were allowed using hints if we tryed really really hard. My group was with Abbey, Georgie and Ruby, we were group yellow. We had to crack the silver and black lock. After that we got a bonus clue to unlock the last padlock to get to the inside of the box. We were times with 45 minutes and there were 7 padlocks. We did it with 6 and a half minutes to spear!!!!

Takahiwi
Lately Takahe and Kiwi have been working together a lot. We can switch between classes, to change up our learning spaces and work with different people. We learn with different teachers/students during our workshops. Takahe and Kiwi enjoy working and sharing learning together to get feedback and feed forward for our different jobs or work we do in our own classes.

Our writing
In Ruma Kiwi we have been working on our explanation writing. We did animal writing, if I could be a animal for a week I would be.... I did a dolphin but there were lots of other awesome animals that the children of Ruma Kiwi did. I enjoyed this because I like art and Miss Collins let us do art with our writing.

Our new learning space!
Yesterday afternoon Miss Collins moved the room around a bit... She no longer has a desk so we now have a new learning space:
And a new T.V:
Everyday when we come to school we get to choose a seat any where in the room. There is also a sound monitor that makes sure that it is always quiet and if it's not they put a mark up on the whiteboard that we owe.

Warm, friendly, the best place here
Go to the villa
